RFT's

Everyone keeps saying that the stock RFT's are garbage. Since there is no spare, what does everyone do in the case of a flat for those who are running regular tires????

personally I've never had a problem with the runflats. As far as the whole spare thing just do a search for spare tire and you'll get all the info you need.

the beauty of a RFT is that it will allow you to drive about 40 to 60 miles even if it does not have air. Since these cars have a tire pressure monitor, you will know as soon as the tires are beginning to run low. BMW assumes the owner of these car are not savy enough to replair a flat on their own, so they suggest 40 to 60 miles will be enough to travel to the nearest service station (dealer).

Whether or not that's enough security has been a great debate in this community.
