335is p1748 Code

I am looking at buying a 2011 335is. It only has 74k and the car seems to be in good condition. The check engine light is on and the code present is p1748. I haven't gotten a chance to drive it yet. I've searched online and couldn't find anything about this code related to a 335is. Has anyone experienced this before or what do you guys think it could be? It has the DCT transmission.

That's a generic code. You'll need to get the BMW specific codes read. A quick search shows it being transmission fail-safe mode, so potentially a serious/high dollar repair.
