question about Z6 QD

I just clayed my car with zaino clay bar and used Z6 as a lube. I then applied BMW hard wax to the finish. After that I applied Z6 over the wax.

It seems that it does not have that shiny metallic look (My car is Black Sapphire metallic). Did I screw up by using the Z6 as a lube for the clay? I wasted a lot of Z6, but I did not have a spray bottle to mix dawn with water, etc.

What do you guys think? It doesn't look terrible, but just not like I think it should. I should have taken pictures, but I am at work right now.
