$400 for a custom tune is ridiculous.

I'd go with other proven tuners on this platform who charge half of that. Unfortunately none of them really post on E90Post anymore. You'll have to visit N54 specific forums for that.

There is a huge value in having a tune be safe, drivable, make good power, and stand up to some regular thrashing. Spend what you have to in order to get the above, and while you're trying to save a few bucks (I DO get that), remember what a new motor costs.
