E92 coil overs on E93

Hey guys don't know too much about suspension and I'm aware of the weight difference between the 2 types of cars, but would adjustable coilovers for an e92 work for an E93 or vise versa? Thanks in advance

They will work without issues... that being said if the coils are specifically made for E93 (most are not) they will be a higher spring rate since the car is heavier, it really shouldn't matter much though.

What would be ideal spring rate? For an e93?

there is no answer to that question, it totally depends on your usage. you're better off getting a good quality set than worrying about spring rates

I just installed the E93 version of ST coilovers. You’ll want to make sure you get a kit dedicated for E91/E93 since the convertible rear has an extra 400 lbs. I did a ton of research and people suggested I run between 650lb to 740lb springs in the rear just as a reference point. Why buy something that isn’t right for your car? Either run a purpose built kit or get a custom kit with the appropriate spring rates and custom valving to match.

Thank you both for taking the time to reply to me, I'll do a bit more research before I go and buy a set, the reason why I was curious was because I found a really really good deal locally on a set of barley used BC's but they're for the E92. I was going to make a rash decision but I'll wait on it then, hellokitty would you mind updating me in a couple months on those st's to see how they hold up? I've looked into them and they seem to be really well made. What spring rates did you end up going with btw I DD drive my e93 so I want to see what everyone kinda goes with switching from the m sport suspension in terms of rates
