Powerflex/Whiteline rear inner lower lateral arm bushing install
While I'm replacing the rear lower ball joint bushing with Powerflex ones (PFR5-414), I'm thinking of replacing the inner bushings too.
Either the Powerflex: https://powerflexstore.co.uk/bmw/e90...2013-pfr5-415/ Or whiteline: https://www.whiteline.com.au/product..._number=W63401 Neither of these have an outer sleeve. Is the original bushing removed completely, including its sleeve, and the replacement is pressed directly in the hole? Or is the rubber part of the OEM bushing removed/burnt out, leaving the sleeve? Thanks! Kevin M. '06 330i |

Thank you.
Now that I've replaced the outer ball joints (with the Powerflex bushings), I'm wondering if I can replace the inner bushings without having to remove the spring. That is, support the arm with a jack and lower the arm enough to get to the bushing. |
