I haven't heard a thing. Called my CA yesterday, she hasn't called back yet. The OC website says "En Route" and the 800 number people say they lose track of the car once it leaves Europe. Hopefully my car met the same fate as yours , Hunter and is on the truck.

Just got word today that my car should be ready for pickup on the 7th. "it was released to the carrier today expecting the seventh for delivery", was exactly what my dealership in Pompano Beach, Florida said.
Eagerly awaiting. This is my first posting on this site. Been browsing for quite some time now, and the wait this past several weeks is just killer.... |

I'm in florida and compared to a couple of you guys, my sales guy is telling me i'll be picking up on the 7th, when a couple of you are expecting it later.....
I spoke to him again late afternoon, and he says they are at the mercy of the truck drivers, but to keep hope for the 7th delivery. I guess I shouldn't set myself up for disappointment. I'd rather expect it later and be surprised.... |

My car was discharged the 25th in NY, and I'm still waiting. It's expected at the dealer tomorrow. The dealer is less than 75 miles from port.... 11 Days? Then, after it arrives at the dealer I will meet with a "delivery coordinator" to go over "programming" and fill out some DMV paperwork, and THEN they will give me a pick up date. Seems like German efficiency stops at the border. I don't know what the hold up is, but I envy you people who have taken delivery within a few days of it getting off the boat.

Mine is expected to leave VPC in SC on 4/5, and arrive in Dayton, OH on 4/7. Since I live in South FL, my CA is having my car shipped to me as soon as she gets it, I am hoping it will be delivered to me by the 11th or 12th. It seems the SC VPC is faster than the one in NY.

Though I was expecting it on 7th for pickup, this morning i get a text message from my dealer telling me "your wish has come true". I called and set up delivery at 5pm today.
I am ecstatic to say the least. I don't like surprises, but this is a good one. |

Yesterday was a great day. I took delivery of my car three days early. It was a great surprise. I told them i'd pick it up at 5pm.
By 5:30pm, I pull up to the dealer and an E90 M3 silver on fox catches my eye. Then right in front of it I see my car, e92 sparkling graphite/coral red. It was perfect weather, the sun was nice and cool. The car was all ready to go, shined with a temp tag and all. I'm glad i stuck to my color choices. Sparkling graphite looked great in that sunlight. It looked sophisticated with just enough drama to set it apart. The coral red interior helps it look unique too. I forgot about the M3 and walked right in to do paperwork. 35 min later, i was driving off in my new car. Anyway, just thought i'd share my excitement with you guys who might still be waiting. As you all know, it will be worth the wait. Good luck. |
