3M 1080 Vinyl Color Change Film over Ceramic Coating??
Hey folks.
Last year, I applied Scotchgard PPF on the front bumpers, hood, mirrors and rocker panels of my '18 Marina Bay Blue M5. Am experiencing buyer's remorse in that the color is impossible to keep looking clean, and in Minnesota, during the winter, it's hard to find touchless car washes that actually clean your car, and I don't have the luxury of inside hand washes. Consequently, the car looks less than optimal for the better part of the year. I am considering going to a matte grey-(ish) colored 3M wrap. Here's my question. Can you apply a vinyl film over a panel which has been previously ceramic coated? Or, will I need to have the ceramic coating removed before re-wrapping the vehicle to assure adhesion? |

Would most likely need to have it removed as the wrap will not stick to the ceramic coating
