Wiring Diagram
Hi my friends, i have a e92 without amplifier in the back, im trying to install a amplifier and a subwoofer. i have some wires near the battery on the right side, are those the wires for the speakers? if they are which ones are for the back speakers?
i need power from the speaker to connect a high pass converter to convert to rca. i tried to find diagrams online and here but no luck ps: i dont want to run wires from the doors because its a pain in the a** and i dont want to have so much cables running around the car. thank you in advance! |

Base system is a POS . It will never be able to keep up
with a subwoofer. But maybe that is all you want don't know. The Hi Fi system is not that much better. The underseats and the doors share the same signal so that would be the place to hang your Loc off of. I drove and X2 the other day with a Hi Fi system they don't even bother to put tweeters in it anymore very unimpressed. You could only turn it up to half volume before it started to distort. If it was me I would do something similar to the upgrades I listed. You have to understand that BMW makes three basic systems and none of them are very good . |

I am surprised there is any bass at all at any speed.
I think you would have to inspect the speaker. But the system probably starts to distort at half volume, so it there any point to this. |

it only happens at high speeds so it shouldnt be a blown speaker |
