Aftermarket charge pipe with injen intake
So I was trying to install my Cobb charge pipe this afternoon and im having an issue with the diverter valves clashing with my injen intake. They both want to occupy the same piece of real estate. Does anyone have an aftermarket charge pipe that fits with an injen intake. I really like the way the injen looks but if I can’t fit both then I’ll just have to take the injen off and get a burger DCI...

That one would probably work...I like the way the cones are lined up there a lot better than the cheaper DCIs...
I took the intake back off so I don’t have a picture the issue is that the Cobb pipe uses silicone sleeves for the diverter valves that makes them sit higher than the stock pipe. |

I really like my Cobb charge pipe. Fitment is perfect. Hmm.. that's really odd. I have never heard of sun issues with the map cable being almost not long enough. Prior to 2017, Cobb charge pipes did have fitment issues at the throttle body, but that has been rectified. You got a pic ? |

AFE makes very good products when talking about intakes etc. You might be able to cut about 3/8 of an inch off the silicone sleeves. Triple check that before you do it. |

I like the Cobb pipe too...it fits really nice...everywhere except the MAP cable. It looks like the MAP cable runs below the throttle body through a clip with more slack on the front side of the engine. I’m gonna take the throttle body off and see if I can cheat a little slack into the cable from the front side of the engine. I really like that AFE intake...I just didn’t know about it when I ordered the injen kit...
Clearly I need to take more pictures when I screw something up...I’ve already got the oem pipe back on...I’ll take a pic when I take the throttle body off... |

I'm running it with Injen but with a BOV, so I can't help you there.

Unless VRSF redesigned theirs it doesn’t fit with InJen intake either, tried and returned as they hit as they sit up a lot higher than stock also.

I liked the way the injen looked but I liked that the stock airbox was sucking cold air better...and it turned out that my OEM charge pipe wasn't cracked like I thought when I got it off... |
