Panel Wipe or IPA

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a recommendation. I know this topic is beat to death on the interwebs but many threads are quite old, and I'm hoping someone can give me some recommendations for my specific needs. I'll be using Angelwax Regenerate then Powerlock+ over top; on my new wheels I'll be using Gtechniq C5. Is an IPA solution sufficient, or do I need a panel wipe? If a panel wipe, can you suggest a product that will work for both my applications?

Many thanks

Detailing is a hobby of mine like it is for others on the forum. Over the years I've found that Rust-Oleum Wax & Tar Remover works best for just about any type of prep work, and I definitely prefer this over any IPA solution. https://www.amazon.com/Rust-Oleum-Au...nd+tar+remover

At less than $8 it's a fraction of the cost of the designer label products, and it's available just about anywhere - HD, Lowes, Walmart, auto stores, etc. It's clear with no aroma though so if you'd rather have something that looks cool and smells good then it wouldn't be the best choice.

Thank you! Scott from DPC recommends a Dupli-Color product too, CM543 I believe. I'm not sure if these products are banned in Canada, but I haven't been able to find either of them.
