License Plate Bulbs

anyone have led bulbs for their license plate? just wondering if it will give me any errors and if so, which bulbs do u guys recommend? thanks in advance.

It depends on your build date. Jlevi sells LED lights for your license plate. Some people have issues and some don't.

They're not LED, but I went with Hoen "titanium" halogens for a worry-free whitening of the license plate lights

They look great and took all of 60 seconds to install. Just make sure you don't get them all fingerprinty when installing -- they run hotter when they're dirty.

bav auto's 12 led lights. No error produced on mine and numerous other e90's around here. $17 each

Just got the new Jlevi LED license plate bulbs for $37 & they look great!

No errors/codes so far, but only put them on earlier this afternoon. They are the bright white look I've been looking for.

half of us in norcal have it with no problems. lol

U just need to cut out the black plasitic inside the housing to fit the leds. It's not rocket science and can be done very easily with plier cutters, razor blade and a dremel if you're anal about it.
