It's not a bulb but an LED; if those are out you need new light assemblies, or if you feel froggy take them apart and do some component level troubleshooting.

we would recommend LED's over halogen bulbs for angel eye upgrading.

How do I figure out which lights/bulbs I've got? The only thing my car spec says is S522A Xenon Lights. I like the way mine look, just wish I could get something lot brighter/whiter.

Are the bulbs listed in OP for Pre-Lci ?

I need to replace brake lights in pre-lci tails and reverse and rear fogs, can someone confirm the right ones for PRE-LCI ? If anyone used LED, what did you use ?

LCI e92 Bulb list?

I have an LCI e92 and my AE's/DRLs are LED. From what I have been told and read here and there is that the bulbs for these lights are built in with the control module. I have checked realoem and other sights but they all tell me that the bulb is an h8. I believe this to be wrong. Anyone know of the part number for this? I have a set of AE's flickering and thought the bulb was failing but it now could be the cm and aes? I need help.

Thanks to EAS for the picture!
Has anyone answered this question yet? I also have just changed my halo lights to the Lux and that damn amber LED is bugging me. Throwing my all white look way off lol. Can it be replaced or am I just stuck with it?

E92 angle eyes bulb location

Hello all!
First time posting so pardon me if a commit some errors. I recently purchased my first BMW a couple months ago. It's a 2011 328i coupe and I'm trying to change the angle eyes bulbs. I did some research and I ordered the H8 led bulbs. When I search online on where the bulb is, every site tells me it's under the hood located under these two panels I have to pop open with a flathead. When I do that, all I see are the cornering light bulbs, no angel eyes. Can anyone please help me with this or point me in the right direction? Thank you

Now that I've bought the wrong outer brake light bulbs twice for my Pre LCI E92 by reading this post can we get someone who has a good idea of what bulbs for what generation we can use? Any volunteers? OP maybe an update/edit on current info? This was mentioned 5 pages in but the 2 outer brake lights are not the same as the inner brake light bulbs.

I share the general frustration here. I’d prefer to PRE-Purchase the bulbs intended for changing (front end); but, because there are so many varied (opinions) on what bulb is in what location.
01/2007 E92 bi-Xenons, fogs, CRAPPY AEs

Bentley shows certain bulb (pg. 630-17) as High Beam (H7 55w), when I believe that the space indicated is actually the Cornering Light .... but is it still H7 for MY application ? RealOEM COMPLETELY contradicts Bentley, too. The Table from OP is Awesome, but that makes THREE different bulb specs ( for certain spots). I don’t even bother with looking for FACTS at the stealership. Sylviania site, and SuperBrightLEDs also with erroneous vehicle-SPECIFIC application.

Another example, I’m almost Certain that my Bumper is non-M tec, but my Fogs don’t look like many pics that I’ve seen for “plain” Bumper.

I’m trying to get very similar color temp (kelvin) for AEs, Cornering, bi-Xenons, and Fogs. Aiming for 4500-5000k. Yet, I’m still left scratching my head on which bulbs I ACTUALLY have (so that I can pre-purchase) ... :~[

I absolutely will NOT use HID bulbs in non-HID housings, which will likely compound my goal of (matched) kelvins. I’ll have halogens (which get HOT), HID, and possibly LEDs (if I can find a decent sub $100 AE option).

Anyway, that’s my rant ..... Sorry

E93 rear brake lights

Hi guys.Got a problem with my 2008 E93.
On the drivers side, one of the brake light bulbs blown. When I took light apart it looks like they are soldered bulbs to board.Anyone else come across this?
The bulb in question just crumbled when I tried to remove and as far as I can tell it seemed soldered.Tried not moving the other bulb as not wanting to break the contact.I can't seem to locate the bulbs anywhere. They are PH16w 8B25GG.
It's like the bulb is in a black enclosure and you can remove but I'm sure the pins go through and are soldered..
I'm a bit stuck as to what to do next..
Any help?

H11 is for the M-tech option that became available in 2011. M sport is a package before then. Your fogs are H8.

Just saw this and was in the same pickle you were in. If one bulb goes out you have to replace the whole piece. look here https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1524112
