Mini Cooper ?

Does anyone know if you have to tweak the suspension on an 08 Mini Cooper S to use 18" wheels and tires? The dealer told me you do but I can't find anything online stating adjustments are needed. Oh...he is trying to sell me one on the floor w/ 18" wheels. It is the color I want but he said the car is "adjusted" for the 18's. He wants $3,000 for the wheels and tires. Matt black Works wheels and Pirelli run flats

Doesn't sound like that'd make much sense.

According to the Mini USA site, the black Works wheels with run-flats are $2,775.
So where's he marking up the extra $225?

no need to adjust anything for the 18" my buddy just got the 08 copper s no problems also he paid for the black jcw wheels $2400 out the door morristown mini look them up on google
