Well this doesn’t seem good, but trying to stay positive

So about two miles from home right before I was headed on a bridge, my car made a few beeps and the yellow gear with exclamation point came on, or the sign that it is in failsafe/limp mode, which it was, I drive automatic but certainly felt the difference that I was being restricted in my gears.

Haven’t driven it since...

It’s been idleing rough as well.

I don’t have a scanner...yet but I did the BC check and it threw back ccid 254. I know this could be anything from just fluids to much much worse but I’d like to hear something that I haven’t yet, and hopefully good.

I’m not afraid of a little diy or putting some money in it to revive it, I love my car.

Praying it’s not as bad as it sounds...

the best thing you can do is setting up INPA and scan for hidden codes I think... Is your gearbox leaking oil?
