Installing Horn/Removing Airbag light on Aftermarket steering wheel

As the title suggests, I've been using a Renown steering wheel in my E90 for a few months now and I was unable to retrofit a horn or turn off the airbag light.

I don't want to go another summer without the horn or light so I was wondering if anyone else on here had installed a horn with an aftermarket wheel, not just Renown, but Momo or OMP.

I know I will need a resistor for the airbag light but the horn has me completely confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Picture included is the horn/roundel insert for the wheel. It is installed in an E30 here with the prongs attached.

You do realize that airbags serve a purpose, right?

Sounds like this is a daily car and not a dedicated track car. You should seriously consider your decisions here. These aren’t cosmetic or vehicle value decisions. This is a decision with real safety impacts.

I just did a 100% airbag delete in a mini. Code the airbags out properly and do not use resistors. For the horn just follow the factory wiring diagram and hook it up to the aftermarket button.

If the OP is over the age of 18, he gets to decide on his own. Maybe we should respect his decision vs. an obtuse lecture.

You don't need any resistors. The airbag can be coded out.

I am aware. This car gets driven maybe 3k miles a year around town and to shows. If I wasn't fully aware of the decision I was making when I installed the wheel, I wouldn't have purchased it in the first place. But, I appreciate your concern, it's a fair critique.

What would be the best way to go about this? A specific tool? Or can any coding device achieve this result?
