USA say cheater I say faster is better

Got powerglide fitted up for the first time.

Still got a bit of work to get the adapter plate to fit all the bolts and countersunk the ones needed.

This has taken me 5 revisions so far on cad and getting it laser cut. That was just the engine side.
Only took 1 go at adding the chev bellhousing to the plate as its a bit easier layout.

Heres a few photos.

It was suposed to be reid case. Waited over 6 months and its a BTE case. Wasnt happy.

Anyway its strong enough.

Once I get a thicker plate made that clamps it solid I can have a look. Ive been making them out if any 4-6mm until I got the holes right.

Looks good Brule. However, still plenty of work to go before she is back on the road. It will be good to see another 335i with a powerglide on the strip. Duck was trying to get me to put one in mine but I don't think it would be very good for street use.

2nd gear power glide is same as 4th gear manual.

It wont be responsive and rev a bit at 100km.
Not sure how fun it will be but ill have a go.
