scratches and dents

Whenever you guys get scratches or dents on your car, do you guys go fix it right away or do you guys wait til you get more scratches then fix it all at once?

As of right now, I have about $1000 worth of scratches on my car and i just had it for 11 months. I already spent $300 fixing scratches and dents within the first few months of owning my 330i.

Wow, $1300 just for fixing scratches in one year is alot of $$$.

I got my first real scratch last weekend so I'm thinking about going to a body shop to get it fixed. I think some idiot scratched it while moving something in a parking lot.

My plan was to go and get it touched up every year or owning the car but looks like I'll do it a bit early this time around (got my car in 08/2005) But I hope it doesn't cost $1000!
