E85 on Oahu

Has anybody seen an E85 station on island? Or where is the best place to fill up, on or off a military base.

Nope. I always pump at the Chevron on Middle St. It's the cheapest one.

I found this shop on craigslist that says he has E100 for 10 bucks a gallon and can show you how to make E85 out of it....just search race fuel on Craig's list and he will pop up..Let me know what you think
He is in Kalihi

Best gas station

Where have y'all found luck with good gas. I have tried the station 76 in Wahiawa...that was trash. I have also tried the shell in Mililani... same story. I always use 92, but I keep pulling timing, even in map one...like pretty bad. The advice that I got was E85, which not here or Meth. I don't mind running meth but still will have an issue getting a hold of methanol here on Island. I gonna do pump BEF with my JB4..I'm gonna do a intake valve cleaning and Downpipes this week end. I'm think about throwing in some E100 and see what it does...so any advice guys...
Where to get methanol or the alternative?
How do you guys keep the octane up here on island?

For meth it is very common to use denatured alcohol from a hardware store.

I used Klean-Strip SLX from Home depot for years. It had an acceptable amount of methanol, ethanol, and very little amount of the dirty stuff.

A few years ago the Home Depots on Oahu stopped selling the SLX and now only seem to sell a can from Klean-Strip labeled just denatured alcohol. The MSDS isn't exactly the same but I have been using it for about 3 years now without issue.

Old thread but:

On base is the only place you can get it. I'm a contractor now so I'll have to sweet talk one of my mil/retired buddies to hook me up haha.

Would be interested to meet up with some local guys. Putting my JB4 in tonight hopefully.

Just saw this but thanks man! It's in and feels good. My buddy let me borrow his BMW S1000RR and now my sense of what fast feels like is way off haha.

I think you still mix in most cases. They sell 110 at a few places.
