Does adding a spacer ontop front strut reduce ride quality or compress strut more
I installed the BMW OEM "rough road package" spacer.
It's a metal plate which is a spacer that is installed on top of the strut tower. It made the car at front taller +20mm. But the car suspension feels bumpier now. Is this just a feeling or is it because of the spacer? I was told before installing there should not be any difference to ride quality. The strut/spring itself was not changed, we literally just added the plate on top. Since the weight of the car has not changed I don't see why the strut/spring would compress more with this plate to cause the bumpiness. Anyone have an expert opinion? |
