Luxury Tax?
Hey guys, is this true that NJ has a luxury tax on vehicles sold over $45,000? My CA said there is such a tax and its like 0.005% of the cost of vehicle. Am i being dicked around or is this true?

yea. unfortunately. Does anybody know of a e90 328 or 325 with purple halogens? That guy just can't drive! I saw him/her on turnpike tonight and can't even go straight!!
But every time I go out, I see lots of cars that should have been ticketed. That's definitely one way for them to get $$$. The law enforcement in Toronto is much stronger and ticket almost anything!!

It used to be called the luxury tax. Now its called the "NJ Supplimental Fee" and is .4% of the value of the car. Essentially, you are/ will be paying 7.4% tax on your M3. The Supplimental Fee is charged to all cars with a selling price of $45,000+
