How do you shop on amazon to get it delivered to AU without a forwarder?

The Bosch part numbers are 17102 and 17098.
The BMW ones are the same thing, but with a brand name tax. Just make sure that you get the Bosch parts right. One is 1200mm length, the other 1400mm. Apparently the wrong length cable can cause slightly different reading for the sensor. |

they ship to Aus, it was only ike 20$ for shipping. I think some "shops" or whatever on Amazon might not ship to Aus, dunno :/

How sure are you that the injectors were not causing the lean condition? Did the new O2 fix the issue? The thread also mentions swapping out the O2 sensors pre and post DP. I intend to install DPs. How does the earlier statement affect my needing to purchase a new O2 sensor? Lastly, are Aliepress DPs junk? In Aus, what is best? |

Yes damaged O2 sensor was the cause In my experience i have had O2 sensors issues each and everytime my DPs have been replaced If i used the Old sensors I would have code issues If I replaced them had no problems As a habit I now replace both O2 sensors when I do the DPs I am running a VRSF CP and its has been great I would buy the down pipe and the two O2 sensors and have them all fitted together Hope this helps |

Thanks. I appreciate the help. You are running VRSF charge pipe. Do you vent to atmosphere or back to inlet? Are you running VRSF down pipes too? I never realised changing down pipes could be habit forming😁 I assume that the front O2 sensors are being changed or all 4? |

No worries Aus My car has been through a few evolutions so many of the parts have been charged a couple of times during the build DP on the car on day, are is still the VRSF catless DP I installed early on, but each time the turbos have been changed the DP have come off Each time they have been reinstalled, there have been problems with the O2 sensors (they are very fragile) so its easier just to replace them with new ones rather then having problems and going back on the hoist later. Is expensive to replace all of them but that's what I did before Vince took over all the mech work on spcgry Re charge pipe, Im running a TFT custom CP with a GFB BOV (ie vents to atmos) cause I like the wooooosh sound before this I was running an ER CP with a Tial BOV. Really your choice if you want to run a BOV (vent to atmos) or diverter valves (recirc) All depends on if you like the BOV sound or not, if you worry about road worthy issues etc..... re CP choice I would replace the stock CP asap (as they are plastic and have been known to shatter and suck plastic shards into your turbo. So is much better to upgrade to a metal CP. VRSF is ok, some people have had fitment issue and the VRSF is generally lower quality welds and finish. I say buy the best CP you can afford. Others can chime in with their recommendations. As far as BOVs are concerned, I would go with the GFB SV50 (Go Fast Bits) It fits a standard 50mm CP fitting and is fully adjustable with a screw on the top of the BOV. That way you can dial in the exact tension you want and not have to bother with springs that other BOVs use Hope this helps.... good luck Aus |
