Changing Gear Selector

Hey guys,

Going to do this in a few minutes.
So I was wondering, do I need to remove the boot before I pull straight up from Neutral?
Or can the boot remain on?

Thanks for the assist.

Nevermind.

It was so dang easy, done in less than a minute.

Looks great. Swapped out chrome selector for walnut selector to match.

You literally just pull straight up as hard as you can. Be careful not to smack yourself in the face. I've pulled of my friends as well as my own auto shift knobs (atleast 4 of them) and i was never cautious about this. But a few weeks ago when i helped pull off another one, i smacked myself right in the chin as it came off. I noticed some are harder to remove then others so if you cant get it off, that means your not pulling hard enough
