320d 2010 LCI front LED Turning light

I have seen the below, how to repair rear LED light.
https://www.ledsupply.com/blog/commo...ail-light-fix/

Wonder whether the front one can be repaired.
They are not cheap.
OEM part no 63127245814

Thanks in advance.

I got a quotation from BMW.
It's $448 just for the Light.

Today I managed to remove it and repair it successfully.
Luckily the LED driver was OK.
It's the same driver for the parking light and the turning light.
Turning light has 13 LED's and the Parking one has just one LED.

I quickly put together a DIY.
Please pardon me if there is not enough information.
Sorry cannot upload the pdf.
Here's the you tube link instead.

63127245814 direction led signal fix

To open the module you need to partially open bumper, fully open wheel cover.

The new module cost 169£ and in bmw dealer 409£ with labour charges, to repair existing you need to have a multimeter and soldering iron.

Test the series of 13 leds in front are one circuit qnd single led for top which is separate.

In my case circuit board was ok, which usually should be the case.

First test LEDs circuit isnt damaged if connection is broken solder jump over cable for the same

+1 on the above procedure.

Question of interchangeable parts. Is the LCI module interchangeable between headklight assembly 63127245814(7245814) and 631172025849 ?

I have 631172025849 but bought the module for the other,
both have the same reference number stamped: MD E4 12662-2 665

Will something break if I connect 63127245814 in a 631172025849 ?

BR,
/Anders
