XENON Adaptive question.

I just bought these and they are adaptive. I just have some questions.

Could this be defective because I tried doing the headlight leveling thing but it seems like the black part is still there..



These are the other side.


Can you tell the difference? anyways I wont have my HID kit for another week so I wont be able to test out the fuctions of these headlights. Im just concern it might have been damaged during shipping.

no its not a crack it seems like the silver plastic part is croked

I think that this is normal because as far as I can remember Adaptive Headlights are going more degrees on the left side than on the right side because of the light pattern...maybe I am wrong...
