At least we're particular and have some standards (ie. moose only). You lot just drink urine. Any kind (Bud Light, Miller, Pabst, Coors, Bear Grylls...etc).

Have some self respect!

Nice....I'm actually right outside of Tryon towards the Black Mountain side.

But my in-laws have about 51 acres between Marion and Boone back to the NW, and we have a small second home on the property.

Beautiful country! Banner Elk is great and we love Boone. We stay at the Mast Farm Inn quite a bit.

Lol. I used to have to travel to Quebec quite a bit, and got so tired of "red beer".

I hardly drink anymore, but always preferred the dark bitter brews. Something dark like Guinness, but with more bite and less smoothness.

Something like RJ Rockers Bald Eagle Brown. And a little place out of New Hampshire called SmuttyNose I believe.

My go to if they had nothing else was Newcastle Brown.

LOL, well I'd wager that there are a lot more people in 'Murica! that drink that piss then there are Canadians in all of Canada.

I'd even bet as a % of population that American edges Canada out on this front too, to take a rather dubious win. But America does like to be first after all...

That's a pretty fair comment. Red beer from time to time is decent, but I don't know anyone myself that goes exclusively for that either.

I don't really like dark beers though, so can't comment. There's a few that I'll drink, but just not a huge fan. I dislike Guiness though, unless it comes in the form of an Irish car bomb.

On a different note, I really like the new direction we've taken this thread. I'd say I'm sorry cmyx6go, but you know I'm not.

I would much rather talk about wine and beer than where I should hide my sorry ass for a tornado warning. I was a bit shaken to say the least when I read the alert this morning and saw the seek shelter immediately. That would have been pretty ugly, me laying in my bed on the 2nd floor while a tornado hit. I could have woken up this morning in Kansas with some pretty red sparkly shoes.

I drove under an "almost" funnel cloud when the storm sirens went off. Luckily I was on the back side of it (where it had already been). Saw another one 2 or 3 miles south of me. Welcome to spring in Texas. Seems like nothing actually touched down.

Those tornadoes are pretty scary stuff. I like living in the northeast. We get blizzards and occasional hurricanes, both of which we know about days in advance. Me no like this run and hide now. I don't know how you guys in the middle of the country live with this.

Are you channeling your inner Austin Powers, baby? LOL!

I actually felt two minor earthquakes we had here. The most recent was back in 2011. I remember waiting at a light and it felt like someone was rocking my car back and forth. I looked, didn't see anyone and couldn't understand why my car was shaking.

You think the percentage of Americans that drink "piss" beer is higher than the percentage of Canadians in Canada?
