And you saying they are all unreliable is exactly what I am talking about, that is just your BS hack opinion that is not based on any facts whatsoever.
What you don't understand is that is warranty based on US emission law 80k/8years not warranty that bmw provided. BMW had to obey the federal law. BMW warranty is 50k/4years. My opinion whether BS or not is far more credible than yours. I'm nobody when comes to vehicle repair and have done two n55 rod bearings replacements in the past 6 moths. What is your track record? You washed your car? OK buddy!

And you can't compare a new BMW to our E9X, so not sure why you even mention those studies in the 1st place in arguments.

I have no say on if BMW as a whole or reliable or not, actually, I would tend to argue they're not as reliable for sure.
Is probably because he also read somewhere online about autosuggestion... Powerful thing never the less.

All you have to do is look up past studies, BMW has never done very bad. And the only reason it was mentioned because fuer stated all BMW's are unreliable, I was never referring to any specific year or model even though they have always done pretty good.

And you can tend to argue whatever you want and you can have your own opinion about reliability, but it's not based on any facts.

Okay nor can you opinion about reliability either since these dependability ratings are based on opinions to lol... so in the end there is no facts no where to be found.

Bottom line is prime your engine after OFHG change or other oil system work. No one here knows why, but there's a reason for the SIB. And if your engine fails buy an s4

I will say these forums are a lot more entertaining than Audizine.

Ohhh, good you got a 8.5 and MT, buddy had a B8, around 50k he started having all sorts of issues (DSG failed, water pump, carbon issues, fuel pump, etc.) so he traded it for a 2015 N55 335i,

Nice, it was one my choices. But the Audizine forums weren't as active and the fact you can only have AWD steered me more and more away. But definitely a nice car, I like the interior more in it for sure!

Yeah didn't want to risk it with the DSG.

If I didn't ski I'd probably get a rwd car, it should be real good in the snow though.
