This theory doesn't hold water in the automotive space. Reference any BMW model and let me know what one has "whittled down" its size and weight as technology advanced.

That's just an example of people's apprehension with EVs.
I'm hoping that as the EV wave continues, we'll start seeing charging spots become more common in parking lots everywhere. It's easy work incentive for businesses.

So... the next BMW will be kind of like my little drone: you charge it over half hour for 5 minutes of fun. After that the fun is gone, you need to go back to that charger...
I see....

For the same reason that we have so many gas stations and take a few minutes to gas up a fossil fuel car..... convenience?? Not having to worry about running out of "juice"?? Basically I don't want to have range anxiety.

With the millions of Euros thrown at automakers in the form of research and customer facing subsidies I can't say I'm surprised.

I mean it's not like anyone believed that BMW had no intention of bringing FWD to BMW when they purchased Mini.

I get range anxiety. As far as gas station frequency. If we had home fueling we wouldn't need a huge percentage of them, though. Home/work charging would alleviate most of that.

I haven't made the leap to EV yet, but I'm on the edge. My next daily driver purchase might be a "juice" powered vehicle. haha
