I Drive Bluetooth not activating
Hi guys, this is my first comment here and I've searched and searched for help for this but just can't find anything concrete.
Basically I've just bought a January 2010 E91 LCI wagon with CIC I drive (I think). I have one CD slot, one USB in the glove box, one aux port in the centre console and a phone cradle. When I go into the phone menu to activate the Bluetooth it just constantly says "Activating" and I can't get past that. On my phone I think I can find it but it won't let me pair with it. How can I get past this? I've bought a new Bluetooth module with matching part numbers in the hope that this will work, will it just be plug and play? Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Most all modules need programming to the car.
Sometimes they may work if they come from a car with exactly the same options. The Vin number should be changed in the module at a minimum. You need to find out exactly which options your car came with . Just because you have the module does not mean that all the functions of the module are enabled. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...pytm6ui2dWc1zK There is both and idrive and coding subforum that may be of help fixing this. |
