I'm currently waiting for my Bimmerlife harness to arrive so I can use the R8 coils, will report back when they're fitted

I'm assuming harness not included?? Why would they sell them without all appropriate parts for install??

they do, you can buy it as a complete kit or harness on it own, as I'm in the UK, after all the taxes, it's cheaper for me to buy the coils here

I went with PR coils because a used set local was cheap. But I would have went with Bimmerlife because you can put the engine cover back on. And Motiv says they run the bimmerlife on there high hp cars.

Shitty thing about bimmer life is the cost. the coils are cheap, they charge a shit load in just the harness. If you build your own harness you could save a bunch.

I have PR coils, they run perfectly and solved an intermittent misfire I was having at high ethenol content. Only downside is the engine cover doesn't fit quite right.

Did Bimmerlife ever get their act together? I heard some people were complaining about a faulty harness as well as long lead times for orders.
