Negotiating lease buyout from AFS

My wife's '17 A4 Premium Plus is about 90 days from lease end and we are thinking of buying out the car. The residual is about $27k and some change. Anyone have any recent negotiation experiences or advice from dealing with Audi Financial Services?

FWIW, we have not signaled out intent yet with AFS, so hopefully we have some advantage with negotiations.

Dont push yourself into a corner by waiting till last minute and then being helpless because you need a car. Start shopping around now. Have a look at comparable cars with comparable mileage cars. Speak to the business office at your local dealer and see what they say.

Always discuss warranty options as well especially since your model was the first year of the A4's current B9 Generation.
