I have spent close to $7,000.00 with ECS and have never had a problem. I just reluctantly made my second purchase (first purchase of a coolant reservoir took 7 days just to ship) with FCP last week, paid for 3 day shipping, and I still don't have my parts.

Shades arrived on time and perfectly packed... lucky streak continues I guess

The idea is to keep quality up so people don't really figure it out. Apparently, they haven't been able to do that.

I never shopped ECS, Turner, Tischer or any of those places.

GutenParts, Blunttech, or BimmerWorld.

I've purchased items from them for years without a single issue outside of a subpar carbon fiber splitter I purchased from them. After a few month delay waiting for more to be produced, they replaced it (they refunded me until the new one came in).

And here we're on a several-page roller coaster of people saying "I've never had an issue..."

That doesn't address the internal conflicts of the company.

Well, Jalopnik thinks someone might care, which is why they wrote the article. And thus the OP of this thread thinks the same, which is the purpose of this discussion.

Everyone chiming in about their perfect orders from ECS doesn't move the discussion forward.

Jalopnik writes all sorts of stupid articles. And the OP is just regurgitating old crap. Info from a salty ex employee who now works for their competition and touting a facebook groups growth as a sign of something when more than half of the people in that group are people like me calling them a bunch of whiners.

"complaints from hundreds of car enthusiast" is BS, and they probably process hundreds of orders a week.
