4420 is 442 ohms. What will be the good value without killing the LED? 3/4 of it? like 300 ohms? |

Would be delighted if someone smarter than me could figure this out. I would really light brighter ambient door lights.

This is an interesting read, I've noticed over the years the ambient lighting on the front doors seem to be dimmed over the years of constant use. Replacing those resistors and SMD would probably work but you would need to find out what would work without melting the housings.
