- Driver's Front Airbag Feb 2019
- Blower Motor Wiring Feb 2019

STILL TO DO
- Oil Filter Housing Gasket starting to leak
- Driveshaft Giubo showing some cracking
- PCV Valve Heater recall letter just arrived

AND, EVENTUALLY
- Have a replacement windshield header trim/gasket but haven’t installed it yet.
- Will need rear brakes, front tires, and probably battery in the next couple years.
- Due for an alignment as it’s been some years.

THING I HAD MEANT TO DO WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR BUT STILL HAVEN’T DONE
- M-Tech M Sport bumpers

SUBJECTIVE CONDITION
body 7.5/10
Fourteen years of roads and parking lots. Usual rock chips on the front bumper and hood, a few small door dings near the fuel filler and a scrape on the front bumper corner (thank you, BART parking), the rear bumper got scraped at the dealer and repaired, twice*.

Interior 8.5/10
Leather regularly cleaned and conditioned. Some minor wear on the front seat side bolsters, the rubberized ’soft touch’ coating on the rear console is getting sticky.

Mechanical 9.5/10
A total peach. Runs smooth and clean, pulls strong, no measurable oil consumption. Still easily passing smog checks. Suspension tight and firm. Alignment still good with dead-even tire wear.

Still feels special, particularly the moment you turn into a corner. Incredibly good to drive, grip for days will have you looking for winding side roads. Eats freeway miles all day long. The most comfortable seats. Holds an amazing amount of stuff for a smallish sedan.ˇ Logic 7 is still a great sounding stereo system. No mechanical issues. No accidents*. No warning lights. All windows, sunroof, A/C, CD player, and everything else works properly. Clean title. Smoke free, pet free.

Beautiful car and great, detailed ad. I miss driving my 330i nearly everyday.

Someone will be very lucky to buy and own it.

Cheers, I appreciate it. Just picked up the X3... definitely a spiritual successor, if a bit more complicated. The E90's a special machine tho, I know I'll miss it.

I was lucky enough to buy this car from @prototyp last week. What a gem! I'd been on a 6-month hunt for a proper BMW. I settled on the e90 chassis late in my search, after combing through tired cars from the older generations I've owned previously.

Prototyp handed over probably 4-pounds of carefully kept, no expense spared, maintenance records and the car is tight as a drum. The suspension + wheel/tire combo is so planted, I can only imagine what some truly sticky tires would do. Or how bad the runflats must be.

Moral of the story: be patient and wait for a good one and if Prototyp is selling anything, buy with complete confidence.
