Looks good, but from my understanding, ceramiclear paint is only added on the very top of the clearcoat. Its not the entire clearcoat. So if sanded, or even buffed enough, you remove the ceramiclear and are left with clearcoat with little to no UV protectors in it. I hope that customer learns form his ways as everytime a major correction like that is done, he loses more and more of his investment in the cars paint.

I have heard both sides of the story on this one, but either way PPG now offers after market NCC for non NCC cars

And polishing would reduce the clear on BOTH NCC and Nonc NCC vehicles

Those values you have are just the clearcoat layer correct? If so thats some thick paint.

Absolutely stunning work! Does anyone know anybody in the Philly/NJ/NY area that does this quality of detailing? If so, please PM me!

For a brief while I thought you had gone overboard and chrome plated the hood!
Who does your photo retouching? There is no human way to get the results you get! Unless you aren't human...as some have suggested.

Of course he doesn't photo-retouch. That was so incredibly lame that I didn't think anyone on FMinus's thread would think I was serious. Like the rest of my comment it was supposed to be humorous. Aoshichan, for you I'm going to use smileys from now on!

Who needs photoretouching when you got a DSC-P100?

FMINUS, stunning detail.

I noticed you used the new Megs M105. How do you like it? I've read rave reviews from the Megs forums, but how does it compare with Menz SIP? Same cutting power, or is M105 more intensive? Safe for full car use, or spot use on deeper imperfections only?

Thanks,
orionredwing

It cuts more than SIP and PG, but finishes much nicer than PG.
My favorite compound, no contest.
