Wheel HELP please
Hey guys,
Ok so a few things. Ive been looking around for a while and im gunna sound like a newb but i wanted to know what 20s would fit on a 335i.. i keep hearing that people have a sport suspension and then i hear other people say that there is no difference between 335 coupes that have the sport package or not. Ive been looking around and i think that the way to go is to spend between 1 to 2k on wheels and then around a thousand for tires. I have been looking at CSL reps, M6 reps, at the Dotz Mugellos that Remib has, and at these Privat Netz.. These Privats are the newest "maybes" to my list of rims to consider( also the TSWs are comparable)... SO what i wanted to ask was: 1) your opinion on how you think these rims would look on a 335 coupe.. 2) what size tires i could go WITHOUT suspension modification, and without fender modifications..3) what the pros and cons are with 20s and also 4) what suspension modifications could be done to help and how much they would be(ex. coils, fender rollling, etc.) Thanks a lot guys, i know its a lot.. but it would clear a lot up for me... ps the rims here come in 19s as well... they are 20x8.5 and 20x10 Last edited by b1gmac88; 04-18-2008 at 11:06 AM.. 1. I think, and I can only imagine, that the wheels would look nice on the coupe.
2. I would go with 235 front and 265 rear for the tire size. Depending on the offset you could go with 275 on the rear as well. 3. With 20s you will feel more of the road and the ride will be a little bit harsher. Of course they will be more susceptible to cracking and bending since you'll have less rubber to protect the wheels. 4. Depending on what you're looking for, springs & shocks combos are fine. If you have the budget I would go with coilovers. |
