Halogen to Xenon Shop?

I've been trying to convert my halogens to xenons for a while now and it's more of a headache than I thought. I saw some had bought xenons on ebay from China and installed them, but that seemed kind of sketchy to me with aftermarket stuff from overseas. I bought two OEM xenon headlights with all the electronic modules and have been asking shops if they can install them. One BMW shop said they might be able to do it, but they’ve never done it before and weren’t sure if they could code the car to accept them. Asked the dealer but they said no.

Anyone know of any shops in the greater LA area that could install these? I looked at some DIY threads of people that did it themselves but it is too involved for me. From research I’ve done they need: to be installed, vehicle coded for xenon, some minor wiring pin changes.

These are for the E84 X1 actually. I posted there but no one knew. Since the X1 is built on the E9x platform I thought someone on here might know.

Probably not worth the effort. Just look for a reputable, BMW-specific performance shop. Maybe someone else here will chime in with a recommendation up there.
