How much does an aftermarket DP back exhaust weigh (like Rennart or CP-E)?
How much weight savings from stock?

Drives:


Stock is about 50 pds. give or take.....

most after market onces (depend) are about...

30ish? TE is like 12 pds......

No way stocks are much heavier than that, I say well over 100 pounds for sure...Aftermarkets around 35-40 pounds the most!

Yeah I didn't weigh it, just estimating of what it felt like, but yeah stock is real heavy!!

Aftermarket is the way to go!!

If you picked up that sucker, you would need two people to help you move it...Its really really heavy, and going aftermarket the car loses alot of weight...Gameover, what did u do with the Oem exhaust??

i think the OEM is 78lbs and full DP back is 55lbs according to URs site. So 23lbs reduction. I assume all others are the same except for titanium of course.

i think its even more than that. usually with bmw its a 50lb advantage to change to aftermarket
