What's going on everyone. Been posting a lot about emissions lately since it's a problem I'm still trying to tackle. Anyway just got this DP fix in the mail and was wondering if anyone has a comment on it. I bought it and it said it was VRSF but this one I got does not look like the one in pictures. It does not have a dial to turn to 5 O'clock like the others just a small black box with a few wires. Is this the right thing for my car ? 2013 E92 335xi with the N55 ? And also does anyone have any install guides to this specific one with these wires ? (Pictures would be nice"

That sounds like the Area 74 DPF.

You should be able to Google for instructions.

The Area 74units did not require you to screw around with a POT.

That sounds like the Area51 DPF.

You should be able to Google for instructions.

The Area51 units did not require you to screw around with a POT.
Thanks for the reply brotha. I added a picture could you confirm this is the Area 51 you mentioned ? Also would you happen to have a link to a guide I could use ? I will also do some searching on google and this forum. Also is the POT the little dial ? Sorry I don't know much about this thing just trying to pass emissions lol

That is an Area 74 unit.

I remember seeing a circuit diagram for a prototype.
It had a small 555 circuit to generate the signals and did not require a trim POT like the VRSF units.
