A lot has been written on this topic around the internet. I was hoping to get some advice about the tow hitch options for a e93 in Australia. I am really looking for a way to carry my e mountain
bike and 2 kids bikes. (when I am alone, I just throw my bike on the back seat). I reckon a boot mounted solution won't cut it for a $7000 electric bike, so I started looking for a hitch.it seems that there are bike carriers available for the euro ball hitch. It also looks like I will be $1000 out of pocket. Any advice is much appreciated. I found the Australia product. the e93 model costs $1250 BMW 3 Coupé e92 e93 Detachable Invisible Tow Bar OEM 303266600001 Westfalia while the e90 costs $600 BMW 3 E90 E91 Invisible Detachable Tow Bar OEM 0623800000 WestfaliaSKU any idea why |

No idea on the price difference between the coupe and sedan - I've got the factory tow kit on my e92 but am missing the tow hitch. I've been trying to sort a replacement, but haven't really found a solution.
It doesn't seem to be the Westfalia one as it has vertical square tubing behind the bumper - internet pics suggest it might be the Witter towbar, but the bar itself just has roundels stamped on it so it seems to be a factory fitted one. Will have to call the dealer I guess but I hate to think what a replacement tow ball might cost through them! Won't worry too much unless I end up selling my e30 as it has a tow bar ![]() ![]() Last edited by ADEe92; 09-04-2019 at 09:11 AM.. |
