Pagid, Textar etc OE brake pad Formula - which years?
Does anyone know if the OE formulations from Pagid & Textar are based off the early run e90 brakes (2006 - mid 2010) or the later formulated (mid 2010 - 2012) brakes?
Looking for a lower dust pad that mimics the OE feel without the price hit of OE formulations. Typically, this is Pagid or Textar but given the pad formulation switchover mid-production I'm not sure. I really don't want the dust of the original OE but the latter formulation is nice. Looking at these: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...446212&jsn=997 Ready to ditch my squeaky Centric Semi-Metallics after 40k miles. Don't really want ceramic. FWIW the Centric semi-metallics do perform extremely well when hot, but low speeds can be a little noisy. Wish they had slightly better release characteristics too. |
