Cool help with the high gloss shadowline trim!

I've owned my e92 msport now for few months but notice that the high gloss shadowline trim around the windows has taken on a tarnished look and is really quite noticeable. It nearly looks marble-y with a bluey hue. Cleaning it when I'm doing rest of car makes no diff. What do I do? Is there something I can polish it with? Thanks guys!

Use a cleaner polish on it. What products do you own? I had shadowline tirm on my X5 and I treated it like the rest of the car.

Might want to give Mothers "Back to Black" a shot...pretty easy to source locally

I've found that it works much better than sealants for black trim, especially really old, oxidized trim.

He has shadowline trim which is not a hard plastic, but rather painted and cleared. Using back to black would result in a smeary look with no result.

I didn't realize that... if the shadowline trim is painted, definitely don't use the back to black. Sounds like it's time for a fine polish applied with a PC or rotary.
