Non-Piggy/Flash Tuning
As I worry about warranty and blown turbos, etc., I wonder what some milder forms of mods would do. I am talking tuning that does not include piggys or flashes.
I honestly dunno what some of the mods like diverter valves do, but what do you think driveability of a car with just the following mods: BMS Intake UR HFC Forge Diverter Valves Intercooler I don't know what the last two would do for an otherwise stock car. Educate me please! BTW, totally happy with my JBX (currently set at zero). Don't want to go back to stock cuz stock sux! Just curious about other "lesser" tunes. |

As I stated though, all of those products you listed were created because of the increase PSI from tunes. Without the increased PSI you are fine with the stock parts.... Hope that helps....

^^^ well explained.
to the OP, i think you are fine with the JBX at 0 or even with one H pill because thats what the DINAN tune PSI is around and they wouldn't boost the turbos into unsafe territory because they have to back up warranties

Regardless of what boost pressure you run, get the best form of engine management you can afford. Preferably something that controls timing, fuel and boost in the best possible way. It is likely that your needs will change with time, especially when you get board of 9psi and realize that your worries about turbo longevity at higher boost pressures are unfounded.
Personally, I'd do electronics well before any bolt-ons (intake, dps, bypass valves, etc,.) Not only will you get better performance, you will also not have to deal with the downsides of installing/running bolt-on parts. Especially when you don't tune your engine controls to run with them. shiv |

To be fair, I should add that you could run 9-10 psi with PROcede, you would just set the user torque settings lower....
