The amount of badge snobbery is astonishing. Every maker started somewhere, not as if they automatically became premium brands. Respect (and rep) is earned, not given. So if a supposed premium maker starts to slip, they shouldn't be allowed to rest on their laurels (thereby continuing to charge ridiculous prices for substandard products). The reason we have overpriced widgets is due to blind and stubborn badge snobs.

MAN!!! that thing is NICE with the driver assist. Super smooth and solid. The days of getting out of a Hyundai/Kia and into a BMW and having your mind blown are over. It was the reverse for me as I was like, "Damn this is nice!". All car manufacturers are catching up.
Go sit in a Kona, you'll hate them again

My son's first Mazda 6, a 2011, we took from 40k to 150k and had no issues with at all, just regular maintenance and upkeep. He isn't worried too much about his current 6 either, he's leasing it.
I have had 3 Miatas & 2 Mazdaspeed GTs. They were all great. Gf just got a Fiata & a 2019 CX-5. I dig em both

Great cars, a Miata even in Fiat form is hard to beat for roadsters. I'll be interested to see what they're going to do with the inline 6 that they're developing for the next Mazda 6. I'd love to see it in a Miata, I think a naturally aspirated I6 Miata would be an awesome car!
