MHD tune disable fuel pump?

I am looking at the MHD stage 1 tune for now on a stock 2007 335i with a fresh battery. I have a few questions.

1) I understand that the fuel pump runs while the tune is loading. Can this be disabled?

2) Can a standard battery charger be hooked up to the terminals under the hood? I have a maintainer but not sure if it has enough amperage to maintain while the tune loads.

Thanks in advance for your help. I do not want to brick my DME!

1. Fuel pump only runs with the older versions on MHD. This was fixed long ago.
2. Yes, first flash takes 30mins+ if its a fresh battery fully charged might be ok. But still i'd get something with some amps

You wont brick it. relax

I don't think MHD allows you to brick it. I think if your voltage is too low it won't let you even flash it. At least for xhp it's like that
