Hypersilver or Hyperblack CSL on Montego E92
Now that velocity motoring have 18 x 9.5 CSL wheel in the correct offset, I am going to buy a staggered set. My only issue is I haven't seen any of the finishes in person, so don't know which one to go with.
The car has black interior and alum trim, with Montego Blue exterior. Out of Hypersilver and Hyperblack, which one will look better on a stock car. I don't plan on going for the all out black look( kidney grill and window trim), so definitely a stealth look is not what I am going for. Please share your opinion on Hypersilver and Hyperblack color for 18s on Montego Blue. A sample of the finishes can be seen here: http://www.velocitymotoring.com/link...l_finishes.htm |

I'd probably stick with Hypersilver to keep the stock/natural color look,.....plain and simple but elegant.

IMO it depends on what you plan on doing with the rest of the car. If you are going to keep the Chrome accents (front grill, window trim etc...) then stick with the standard silver. If you are going for the black out theme, then hyperblack would work better.
Here is hyperblack on an E90 to give you an idea: |

I agree with Nick's comment. It depends on what theme your going for. For me personally, i am headed the black/montego colored theme and am having my window trim painted Matte Black and getting some 19" Gunmetal CSLs But it just depends... if you are keeping your chrome grille and aluminum window trim, i suggest going with the Silvers

Personally, I would go with HyperSilver. I have a set of Sparkle Silver Morr's on the way for my Montego E92. I'm just not into the blackout wheels thing...from what I've seen on the board it seems that the black or darker color wheels are very popular, but I just don't get it.
Everybody here is always so consumed with not looking "ricer" or "2 Fast 2 Furious" and IMHO blackout wheels exude Uncle Ben's. I know I'm in the minority here, but, to each his own.... However, it would be AWESOME not to have to worry about brake dust so much! The HyperBlack don't have that totally blackout look and I find them much more attractive than a blackout wheel.

I know you aren't asking the question, but I believe that gunmetals are the way to go.
The gunmetal color is just an amazing color.

Thanks to all of you for providing input. I will go with Hypersilver color. I think the 18 x 9.5 with 33 offset will be available by mid May. Do any of the vendors know an exact date for availability?

Yeah, it depends on the rest of the car. If you are stock or mostly stock then go with the hypersilver since they always look good.

Actually...not mid May. They are definitely in the production schedule, but as to when they'll be available... I can't say exactly yet, but most likely by summer.
