I did a quick search, and all I found was products but I think I need more help with my technique.

In all my years of driving i've never really been able to get the inside of my windshield streak free. there usually is some film that I would have to go back to and clean again.

I've been using invisible glass because they gave me a can when I got the windows tinted. it works great on the door windows but the windshield still has the film.

I've tried cleaning it in the morning when it's cold, clean microfiber (new) and still it seems like there is a film that I have to buff off but I always seem to miss a spot. I watched a video and they recommended iso alcohol and it made it easier but still required the buffing and multiple clothes. Any help is appreciated.

If it's built up gunky film then iso alchool to break it down first then you need preferably 2 microfibers. One to clean and wipe and a high quality drying/buffing one. I have a microfiber madness cloudbuster to give you an idea for my good one and costco ones for the cheapo cleaning one.

I also do the outline of a box shape then up down then side to side for my wiping technique. Always end up with clear glass.

X2 on the second clean town for buffing dry. Use one towel and glass cleaner first, then new 2nd town to polish dry.

Wipe the interior glass all in one direction (horizontal or vertical) . Wipe the exterior glass in the opposite direction. This will help you identify where remaining streaks are. +1 for using isopropyl alcohol for cleaning the interior glass. Works well for me taking the haze off.

Once oily/residues free, I spray on clean tap water and use a window silicon swipe/squeegee or how you guys call it...

A guy on YouTube suggested a Mr Clean Magic Eraser wet in between 2 Invisible Glass cleanings
