I haven't seen one posted on the forum yet. There has only been a DIY posted for a spring install, which is similar for the fronts, but it doesn't show how to remove the rear struts.

to remove the rear struts.

1. remove rear the side panels in the trunk

2. theres a rubber piece that covers the bolt to the top strut.

3. remove the 16mm nut.

4. on the bottom, remove the 17mm nut.

5. force the strut downward with your hands and remove the strut.

very easy. pain in the ass without air tools.

its easier if you have rear fold down seats. this way you dont have to remove the whole panel.

This is good to know. You should copy and paste that into the DIY spring install thread so people that are installing coilovers can use the same thread.

If you search you can find a few threads that you can piece together on your own to cover all of the steps. I know that long had a thread showing with pics how to remove/replace the rear struts, and there was also a thread showing how to compress the front springs in detail. In addition to the spring DIY you can connect the dots pretty easily when you have the parts in front of you.
