How do you re-set the ECU????

I was wondering if any knows how to re-set the ECU as the title implies. I disconnected the battery for over 20 mins and that did not do the trick so I was wondering if there is a BMW secert I am unaware of?. Any help would be great.

I seriously doubt you can reset the ECU, however I'm certain E90Fleet can answer the question for sure.

Disconnecting the battery for a little while works really well, made my car drive like it was brand new again!! You can also reset the tranny if you have an automatic.
