SiriusXM and Combox Help
I've been having some wiring done to my car and it got me thinking about SiriusXM again, so I decided to go out and pull the radio to check it out. And...
I do have the pink connector on the back and the top label does show SiriusXM. So now comes the questions... I have the BimmerGeeks Pro Tool on a Tablet. Can I use that to activate my SiriusXM, or do I HAVE to go to the Stealership to have it activated? Which leads to my second question: I've been reading that I need an FSC Code to activate the radio. Can I get it from somewhere else (like Dracon) or ONLY at the Stealership? And on the Combox side, why does the label show Combox if I don't have it? Or do I have it and I just need to activate it with the Pro Tool? I've provided pics for reference in case anyone is interested in what the pink connector and label look like.

You would have to enable it with coding add and antenna and you might get
away with just calling Serius to get a subscription and enabling. The other route is to call up Bimmertech to do the programming and enable the subscription. Also these are mostly coding board/sub forum questions |

I'll give the coding a try first, and if that doesn't do anything, I'll contact Bimmertech to see what they can do. Thank you so much!!
